Red carpet turns Highland green for Brave premiere

The green astro turf was rolled out instead of a red carpet for the Highland premiere of Disney Pixar’s blockbuster new film, Brave, at Eden Court Theatre in Inverness yesterday.

The animated film, set in mediaeval Scotland and voiced by a host of home-grown talent, went straight to number one in the US last week, taking in more than $80million dollars.

Among those attending last night’s premiere, hosted by VisitScotland and Disney Pixar, was Elgin-born actor Kevin McKidd, director Mark Andrews and producer Katherine Sarafian.
