PM a double dealer, says Salmond

Alex Salmond has accused the prime minister of “double dealing and doublethink” over proposals to hold a public ballot on EU membership.

The first minister said David Cameron’s handling of the issue was in contrast to his position regarding a referendum on Scottish independence.

The SNP leader argued that Mr Cameron was taking a contradictory stance on the European and Scottish referendums.
