Tributes as RAF crash dead named

Politicians, senior RAF officers and colleagues paid tribute yesterday to the three victims of the Tornado crash in the Moray Firth.
Two airmen from RAF Lossiemouth’s 15 (Reserve) Squadron – named as Squadron Leader Samuel Bailey and Flight Lieutenant Adam Sanders – are missing presumed dead after Tuesday’s tragedy involving two aircraft.
Flt Lt Hywel Poole was named as the airman who died from his injuries after being airlifted by an RAF Sea King helicopter from Lossiemouth to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on the afternoon of the incident. A fourth, unnamed man – also plucked from the sea by a helicopter – remained in “serious but stable” condition last night.
