Pam carrying the torch for disability sports competitors

Aberdeen volunteer Pam Gallant has earned a place in the Paralympic torch relay after two decades dedicated to disability sport – but is adamant the work she does is reward enough. When her son Maurice, now 44, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy Pam, from Rosemount, quickly became involved with helping him continue swimming, and Pam’s contribution has grown since.
