Win over Cameroon in Granite City gives Scots Euro confidence

Although a play-off spot is the more likely outcome in Scotland women’s bid to qualify for next year’s European championship finals in Sweden, national coach Anna Signeul is still targeting automatic qualification as the best-placed runners-up.

That honour currently sits with Holland, who have completed their group matches. But after Scotland’s impressive 2-0 win over the Cameroon Olympic team at Aberdeen Sports Village, Signeul believes there is still a chance of overtaking the Dutch.
