Transplant Games noble pursuit for Joe

A young north-east liver transplant patient will be taking part in his greatest sporting challenge, inspired by London 2012.

Nine-year-old Joe Noble is training for the British Transplant Games, held in Kent from August 23 to 26. He will compete in three swimming events – the front crawl, breaststroke and back crawl – for the King’s College Hospital, London, where he underwent his transplant in 2005.
