Holyrood’s secrecy over cost of its Olympic base

The Scottish Government has been criticised for refusing to divulge how much money is being spent on setting up a base in London for the Olympic Games.

The Army and Navy club in Pall Mall has been taken over by the Holyrood administration – and renamed Scotland House.

A typical subscription to the club costs around £400 per year.

The venue was opened on Friday with an audience of around 100 guests.
