Rape-case schoolgirl’s mum tells jury: We had to flee

THE mother of a schoolgirl could not give her a lift home on the night she was allegedly attacked, a rape trial heard yesterday.

The 16-year-old told the High Court in Aberdeen she messaged her mum asking to be picked up after a New Year’s party.

But her mum could not collect her by car because she had had two drinks.
