The BBC is under fire over plans to axe two of its three senior broadcast reporters in Inverness.

A total of 35 posts are to be cut across Scotland by March next year to help make £16.1million of savings by 2016.

The news team faces 17 job losses, while there will be eight at Radio Scotland, six in marketing and communications, two in new media, and two in Gaelic.
