Agony now, ecstasy to come

Aberdeen’s Fiona Duncan claims she’s still on track for a podium place in the Paralympic Games – despite agonisingly missing out on a medal at her first attempt.

The Granite City police officer, who races as the pilot for visually impaired cyclist Lora Turnham on the tandem, launched her campaign by finishing fourth in the 1km time trial.
