Emily’s drink-drive killer has homicide judgment quashed

A drink-driver who was jailed for killing a north-east sheriff’s daughter in the US has had his homicide conviction overturned by appeal court judges.
Peter Goldblatt is serving a 25-year prison sentence for causing a crash at a children’s summer camp in New York State.
The 41-year-old careered off the road and drove into seven people, including 21-year-old camp worker Emily Lewis from Aberdeen.
