Speyside’s Emma just hammers UK rivals

Moray athlete Emma Bowie helped Edinburgh AC win the UK Young Athletes League final track-and-field competition in Manchester.

The Speyside High School pupil was one of seven competitors to strike gold for the Scottish club when she won the under- 17 age group hammer with a best throw of 42.27 metres.
