Convicted killer set to appeal

The man convicted of the brutal murder of Perthshire pensioner Jenny Methven is fighting to clear his name.
William Kean was sentenced to 22 years in jail after killing the 80-year-old in her Forteviot home.
He denied any involvement in the crime during his trial and in the wake of his conviction last month, his family said that it was his intention to fight the jury’s finding of guilt.
