Above Par Dons needed

Aberdeen manager Craig Brown believes his team could not have been given a more difficult draw in the third round of the League Cup after being paired away to First Division Dunfermline.

The Dons, who needed extra time to defeat Morton 2-0 in the second round, have been drawn against another First Division side in the Pars, who were relegated from the SPL last season.
