Teen rape claim untrue, accused tells High Court

An Inverness man accused of raping a teenager in an alleyway yesterday told a High Court jury that the allegation was untrue.

Robert Finnie said that his alleged victim started kissing him and that she “wanted to go further”.

Finnie is accused of raping the 18-year-old woman in a bin shed at Farraline Court, Inverness, in the early hours of December 27, 2010.
