Shamed carer stole from MS sufferer to pay debts

A MORAY carer stole cash from a woman suffering from multiple sclerosis – to try to get out of debt.

Lisa Stevenson yesterday admitted taking £200 from the 61-year-old woman – whom she had been employed to look after – between May 14 and May 23 this year.

The 28-year-old was one of several Moray Council carers who dropped in to help the MS sufferer with daily tasks.
