Crash footballer ‘will fight back to health’

A YOUNG footballer left critically ill after a car crash was described last night as a “fighter” who would battle back from his terrible injuries.

Elgin City manager Ross Jack said everyone at the club would do all they could to help Chris Tucker recover from breaking both his legs.

The 21-year-old had been travelling home from a match at Dingwall with two other players when their black Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with another team member’s car on the A96 Aberdeen-Forres road near Alves.
