Vernon ready to take out frustrations on the Pars

Aberdeen manager Craig Brown believes attacker Scott Vernon is ready to take his frustration out on League Cup opponents Dunfermline tomorrow.

The big Englishman has yet to score in the SPL this season, with his only goal coming in the 2-0 extra-time win at Morton in the League Cup on August 22.

But after two successful campaigns at Pittodrie, scoring 15 and 13 goals, his manager believes it is when, and not if, the goals will come.
