Island filling station boss explains price cut

An island filling station operator who stunned drivers by slashing 9p off a litre of road fuel yesterday spelled out how it happened.
And Gordon Maclennan challenged his previous supplier, Scottish Fuels, to explain how his new supplier, Highland Fuels, can sell fuel to him so much cheaper.
The owner of Gordon Diesel Services on Lewis surprised motorists when he cut prices at his filling station at Back last month.
