Grace’s great 60 equals Tour’s record

The record books will show that South Africa’s Branden Grace shot 60 at Kingsbarns yesterday to take the lead on the first day of this year’s Alfred Dunhill links championship.

It matches the lowest score in the history of the European Tour and has now been recorded 14 times – but the magical 59 remains unconquered territory.
