Land grab claim over north windfarm plan

A WINDFARM war of words broke out in the Highlands yesterday as a community group revealed plans to build turbines – in their neighbours’ back yard.

The Alness group was accused of mounting a “land grab” on the outskirts of nearby Invergordon and striking a hush-hush deal with an electricity company.

The row broke out as it emerged north windfarm protesters are to spearhead a major demonstration designed to embarrass First Minister Alex Salmond at the SNP conference later this month.
