Trump outburst over turbines plan

Donald Trump has said conservation charity the RSPB should “close its doors” after it withdrew its objection to a windfarm.

And the US tycoon has also called on Ministry of Defence officials to consider their positions after they too dropped opposition to the £230million, 11-turbine European Offshore Wind Development Centre (EOWDC).

Both organisations originally objected to plans to build the windfarm near the outspoken businessman’s luxury golf resort in the north-east.
