Big-hitting Berrington fails to prevent Scots losing opener

A brilliant allround display by Richie Berrington could not prevent Scotland being outgunned by the star-packed Highveld Lions in the opening encounter of their South African tour.

Pursuing a target of 187 in the Twenty20 friendly in Johannesburg, Pete Steindl’s side fell 20 short – in spite of Berrington’s big-hitting heroics.
