Hundreds join march in protest at planned link road

HUNDREDS of people took to the streets last night to march against plans for a relief road through Elgin.
About 500 residents of all ages brandished placards as they made their way from the west end and New Elgin towards an exhibition on the proposals at the TA hall in Edgar Road.
They queued outside the hall for a chance to confront council officials over safety concerns and the layout of the proposed Western Link Road.
