Musical maestro in TV spotlight
He has achieved success most musicians could only dream of – composing songs for royalty, winning a Classical Brit award and clinching a Number 1 hit.
Professor Paul Mealor can now add another coup to the list – appearing on one of Britain’s longest-running programmes, Songs of Praise.
A special edition of the Sunday institution will air next month to honour the musical maestro, who has taught at Aberdeen University’s music department since 2003.
