Firm’s safety failings risk life – ex-foreman

A FORMER employee of a Moray grain store which was the scene of a horrific accident earlier this month has accused the firm of grave safety failings.

Jim Fettes, who used to work as a foreman at W.N. Lindsay Ltd at Keith, claims he had two accidents at the site within two years – and fears a life could be lost if action is not taken.

But the firm insisted last night that safety was paramount and was fully under control at the site.
