Clark’s start shows fringe acts can take centre stage

Aberdeen midfielder Chris Clark got his chance of a first SPL match this season in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Dundee United at Tannadice and now intends to stay there and keep his team at the top end of the SPL table.
A difficult match was made all the worse because of horrendous traffic delays after an incident on the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee.
The team coach was given a police escort, but not so the 4,000 Dons supporters who had to endure a three-hour trip to Tannadice, meaning scores missed the delayed 3.15pm start.
