Brown urges Dons to rise to league challenge

Aberdeen manager Craig Brown has challenged his players to show their League Cup exit was a blip when the Dons return to league action tomorrow.

Derek Adams, manager of tomorrow’s opponents Ross County, was at Pittodrie on Tuesday to watch his former team eliminated from the League Cup on penalties by St Mirren.

The result ended the Dons 12-match unbeaten run and it was the defending that caused the manager the most concern.
