Underwater sonar search for missing photographer
Red Cross volunteers used sonar to scan the River Beauly yesterday on the third day of a search for a missing north photographer.
Gordon Dawson, 61, was reported missing on Sunday, having last been seen at noon on Wednesday.
Police were alerted after his camera equipment was found on the riverbank below the Aigas hydro-electric power station near Beauly.
It is believed the wildlife photographer, of nearby Teanassie, may have been taking pictures of otters when he disappeared.
