Blowing chance to top SPL was a joke, laments Magennis
Aberdeen's Josh Magennis has branded his side's performance in the 3-2 defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle as a “joke" and their worst of the season.
The Northern Irishman netted twice, including a stunning second, but was on the losing side after a Billy McKay double and a Gary Warren header gave the Highlanders all three points.
It meant Aberdeen missed the chance to top the SPL for the first time in November since 1993 and Magennis took his share the blame for the missed opportunity.
