It’s panto time again – oh yes it is!

Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without the annual dose of dames, princesses and tomfoolery.

Audiences across the country already have their boos and hisses at the ready for this season’s raft of pantomimes.

Here is just a handful of the productions donning the stage this winter.

Aberdeen

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Starring Elaine C. Smith, Alan McHugh and Jordan Young. The Wicked Queen weaves her winter spell, bringing hilarious twists to a classic tale. HM Theatre, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen. Various performance times, showing until January 6.

Little Red Riding Hood

The house will rock in this lively version featuring the very best of local talent. Presented by Castlegate Arts Productions, Aberdeen Arts Centre, King Street, Aberdeen. Various performance times until December 24.
