Key sectors called on to drive region’s economy
A development body has called on the north-east’s energy, tourism and food and drink businesses to help drive the region’s economic growth.
In a report published today, Aberdeen City and Shire Economic Future (Acsef) is targeting 2.5% growth in the north-east economy every year for five years.
It set a similar goal in 2007 but that was before the credit crunch and economic downturn.
