US to chose captain

The United States will unveil their next Ryder Cup captain, expected to be David Toms, tomorrow.

Ted Bishop, president of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America, will announce the successor to Davis Love III.

The 2014 match takes place at Gleneagles, Scotland and Europe’s captain – almost certainly either Darren Clarke or Paul McGinley – is expected to be named next month.
