Aberdeen defender Joe Shaughnessy is delighted his first goal for the Dons proved to be so important.

The 20-year-old scored Aberdeen’s second in a 2-1 Scottish Cup fourth-round replay victory against Motherwell at Fir Park last night after New Zealand international forward Rory Fallon had broken the deadlock.
