Woman awaits fate for driving her car at schoolboy

A WOMAN drove her car at a schoolboy and threatened two other children in a north-east town, a court has heard.

Cheryl Mitchell admitted assaulting a 13-year-old boy who was cycling in an Oldmeldrum street on July 28 last year.

Speaking outside Aberdeen Sheriff Court, the teenager’s mother said her son had been “distraught” after the incident.
