Fury as expert denies storms risk to homes

RESIDENTS of a Moray seaside village accused an expert of being “divorced from reality” yesterday after he claimed their homes were not at risk despite a ferocious weekend storm.
Kingston was cut off for around two hours after giant waves breached sea defences.
For years, the villagers have been calling for action to be taken to strengthen the thinning shingle bank which protects them from the North Sea.
