Tories to break ranks over new bridge

The Conservative group on Aberdeen City Council will break ranks with its Labour and Independent coalition partners today over plans for a new bridge over the Don.
Tory leader Fraser Forsyth said he would be submitting a motion to full council to “reaffirm” the authority’s commitment to the crossing in the previously agreed location.
Officials will be asked to provide a report detailing the “most efficient” options to deliver the £15million route “as quickly as possible”.
