Ex-police constable walks free from court over brawl

A YOUNG policeman who resigned after being charged with assault has walked free from court.

Harris Macleod had been accused of punching and kicking former schoolfriend Michael Macrae after a night out at Nairn.

However, the case against the 19-year-old former constable was found not proven at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday.
