Foran wants Shinnie sorted

Inverness captain Richie Foran is a paid up member of the Andrew Shinnie fan club and is hoping his team-mate will sign on again with Caley Thistle.

Attacking midfielder Shinnie capped a fine display with a terrific goal as his side twice rallied from a goal down to earn a 2-2 draw against St Mirren at Caledonian Stadium yesterday.

Foran led the praise for his team-mate, who is out of contract at the summer, and while admitting he is capable of playing above SPL level, the Irishman hopes his team-mate will remain part of the team beyond this season. He said: “Andy is very gifted.
