Man in court charged with murder in village

A MAN appeared in court yesterday in connection with an alleged murder in a north-east village.

Liverpool man Mark Foster is accused of killing 50-year-old Glenn Miller at his home at New Pitsligo. The former taxi driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following a call from his GP on Thursday afternoon.

It is alleged that Mr Miller suffered serious injuries at his Clinton Place property the night before. Mr Miller died in hospital on Saturday morning.
