Dad found not guilty of raping woman he met in pub

AN offshore worker has been cleared of raping a woman he met during a night out at an Elgin pub.

Peter McIntyre said that “justice had been done” after the not guilty verdict was returned by a jury yesterday.

Speaking outside the High Court in Aberdeen, the father-of-two described how his life had been turned upside down by the allegation.
