“It’s good to talk,” goes the BT phone advert, but for one Highland village an added bonus would be talking to the right person.

Subscribers at Bundalloch near Dornie in Wester Ross were left scratching their heads thanks to a real case of crossed wires.

Family and friends of residents of Bundalloch had no idea who was going to pick up the phone when they tried to ring their usual numbers.
