Neighbours shocked as OAP accident cyclist named

A cyclist killed on the A82 Inverness-Fort William road has been named as Alistair MacBean from the Dalneigh area of the city.
The 74-year-old died at the scene of the crash at the west end of the Dunain Straight on Tuesday afternoon after his bike was in a collision with a Honda CRV 4x4.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Last night neighbours of Mr MacBean, who lived alone in Rowan Road, were shocked at news of his death.
