Cliffhanger as drivers hooked seeing ice climbers

Temperatures have dropped so low in the Highlands a waterfall beside the region’s main road has completely frozen up.

Now the ice, beside the A9 Inverness-Perth road at Slochd, is attracting the attention of the climbing community.

Two hardy souls attempted to climb the wall of ice yesterday, watched by passing motorists.
