Dons chance to gain the whip hand for cup tie

Aberdeen begin the biggest week of their season so far with the visit of Hibernian to Pittodrie tomorrow.

The 12.30pm encounter will serve as the prologue to next weekend's hotly-anticipated Scottish Cup tie between the sides at Easter Road, with the Dons making a trip to St Johnstone in between.

With SPL matches against the teams directly above and below them, followed by a Scottish Cup tie that the Dons simply cannot afford to lose, it is a week that could shape Aberdeen’s season.
