AN OFFSHORE worker has been found guilty of killing his best friend when he crashed his Porsche sports car on a quiet country road.

Douglas Calder had faced a charge of causing the death of father-to-be William Webber by driving dangerously.

But a jury convicted him of the alternative charge of careless driving after a week-long trial.
