Captain or not, Brown’s place has to be earned

Scotland captain Kelly Brown has been told he will have to earn the right to keep his job.
The 30-year-old Saracens back-row forward has been handed the honour of leading out the Dark Blues for their Calcutta Cup match against England at Twickenham on Saturday as the six nations kicks off.
But interim Scotland head coach Scott Johnson refused to confirm whether he will continue in the role for the whole of the championships.
