Arabs close on Pressley as Houston makes early exit

Dundee United are poised to appoint Steven Pressley as their new manager within the next 48 hours.

Pressley is ready to take over from departed manager Peter Houston after United and Falkirk last night took a step closer to agreeing a compensation deal to put him in line for a first match in Saturday’s fifth-round Scottish Cup match against Rangers at Tannadice.
