Tragedy as leading scientist killed by lightning

A UNIVERSITY lecturer found dead at an Argyll beauty spot following a storm is believed to have been struck by lightning.

The body of Tim Boyd, 54, was found on a bridge near his home at Port Appin in north Argyll by a local woman who was walking her dog.
