Butcher’s squad will need no lifting

Caley Thistle manager Terry Butcher is adamant he will not have to lift his players to face St Mirren after the Highland club’s League Cup semi-final defeat.
The former England captain admits he would prefer it if the Caley Jags were facing the Paisley Buddies in the League Cup final rather than the SPL tonight.
Winger Jordan Gibbons, 19, goes straight into the Inverness squad for tonight’s match after signing a loan deal until the end of the season from English Premier League club Queens Park Rangers as does fellow new boy Charlie Taylor, who joins on loan from Leeds United.
